Erin M Lopez

About me

My name is Erin Lopez. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a bachelor’s degree in General Studies, from College of Saint Mary with a master’s degree in Teaching, and I have my Educational Specialist degree in PK-12 Administration from University of South Dakota. I hold a teaching certificate for Elementary Level Math, Science, English/Language Arts, and Social Studies as well as English as a New Language.

I am originally from Bow Valley Nebraska (a very small farming community). I first went to school to be an Egyptologist and joined the military to learn Arabic (which I still know). After leaving the Air Force I went back for my teaching degree and I have been teaching ever since. I have lived in 5 states, 2 countries, and many towns. I am a farm girl at heart and greatly enjoy being outside. I am married and have a son that will be turning 7 this September. I have many pets (both cats and dogs).
